Job Summary:
We are looking for a Patching Project Coordinator to manage and coordinate OS and application patching activities across Windows and Linux environments. This role focuses on project coordination, stakeholder communication, and ensuring smooth patch cycles. You will work closely with infrastructure, security, application, and service management teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate patching activities across Windows and Linux systems
- Organize pre-patch planning meetings and post-patch review sessions
- Manage patching calendars, maintenance windows, blackout periods, and customer notifications
- Serve as the primary coordination point between internal teams and customers
- Provide timely updates on patching schedules, risks, progress, and mitigation plans
- Conduct regular service and progress review meetings with customers (monthly or as required)
- Present patching results, success rates, exceptions, failures, and improvement plans
- Create, update, and manage Incident, Service Request, and Change Request tickets via ITSM systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy)
- (Optional) Perform basic patching tasks using WSUS, Landscape Canonical, or run prebuilt scripts
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business IT or a related discipline
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in IT operations, service management, patching coordination, or project coordination
- Experience coordinating cross-functional operational activities
- Exposure to IT patching, infrastructure operations, or service management environments
- Proficiency with ITSM systems (ServiceNow, Remedy, etc.)
- Strong understanding of IT security principles
- Strong project coordination skills: planning, scheduling, risk tracking, and status reporting

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
