Job Title: Test Manager (Banking Domain)

Location: Kuala Lumpur

Employment Type: 1-Year Extendable Contract

Job Overview

We are hiring an experienced Test Manager to lead and manage end-to-end testing activities for large-scale banking projects. The role involves managing testing teams, defining test strategy, and ensuring quality delivery across multiple stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage testing teams including IT and business users
• Develop and maintain Test Strategy, Test Plans, and Test Reports
• Oversee end-to-end testing lifecycle including SIT and UAT
• Review test deliverables from internal teams, vendors, and business users
• Manage defect triage, issue escalation, and resolution
• Coordinate functional and non-functional testing activities
• Prepare daily and weekly status reports for stakeholders
• Ensure adherence to testing processes, quality standards, and governance
• Manage stakeholder communication during testing phases
• Guide teams in using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Zephyr

Requirements

• Minimum 13 years of experience in Test Management or Software Testing
• Strong experience in Banking or Financial Services domain (10+ years preferred)
• Proven experience managing large testing teams and programs
• Strong knowledge of functional and technical testing methodologies
• Experience working in Agile and Waterfall environments
• ISTQB CTAL-TM certification is mandatory
• Hands-on experience with JIRA and Confluence
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Pay: RM5,330.83 - RM15,000.00 per month
