Responsibilities

Position : Application Support Specialist

Salary : RM 3,000 - RM 4,500

Location : Desa Aman Puri, Kepong

Working Hours : 8.30am – 5.30pm (Monday – Friday)

Job Summary

We are seeking an Application Support Specialist to provide technical support, maintenance, and operational assistance for business applications, ensuring smooth and reliable system usage for customers.

Responsibilities

  • Provide application support and maintenance for clients, including POS and related systems
  • Assist in system installation, configuration, and client onboarding (onsite and remote, including occasional travel)
  • Conduct user training, system demonstrations, and product presentations
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve application issues in a timely manner
  • Manage and resolve support tickets within defined service timelines (SLAs)
  • Support basic system testing, verification, and minor configuration or customization requests
  • Prepare and maintain user guides, FAQs, and technical documentation
  • Participate in standby/on-call support rotation when required
  • Collaborate with internal teams to escalate and resolve complex technical issues
  • Perform additional ad-hoc duties as assigned by management

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Information Technology or related field
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in application support, technical support, or similar role
  • Basic knowledge of SQL and networking concepts (LAN/WAN)
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills
  • Good communication skills in English (written and spoken)
  • Customer-focused with a positive and professional attitude
  • Able to multitask, learn quickly, and work under pressure
  • Willing to work in a support-driven environment and participate in on-call duties when required

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
