About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Business / System Analyst to lead requirement analysis, solution design, and system implementation. You will serve as a key link between business users and the technical team — ensuring that every deliverable meets business goals, adheres to project timelines, and aligns with organizational objectives. The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and a strong communicator who can manage multiple tasks, coordinate across departments, and support project delivery with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

Requirement & Analysis

• Collaborate with stakeholders to collect, analyze, and validate business and system requirements.
• Prepare detailed Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and System Requirement Specifications (SRS).
• Perform gap analysis, feasibility studies, and process optimization recommendations.
• Translate business needs into functional and technical documentation for developers and testers.

System Design & Implementation

• Create end-to-end process flows, data models, and wireframes to support system design.
• Recommend improvements to system features, workflows, and user experiences.
• Collaborate with the development and QA teams to ensure requirements are accurately implemented and tested.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), manage issues, and ensure readiness for deployment.

Leadership & Coordination

• Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure all project deliverables meet quality and schedule targets.
• Liaise with designers to ensure the UI/UX and visual design align with system requirements and user journeys.
• Liaise with the Project Manager on project progress, risk updates, and milestone tracking.
• Act as Project Manager’s assistant regarding project timelines, task scheduling, and monitoring of all development phases.
• Oversee and maintain development timelines, ensuring the team adheres to planned schedules and deliverable deadlines.
• Serve as the main liaison between business users, developers, testers, and management.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior analysts in documentation and communication best practices.
• Facilitate requirement walkthroughs, sprint reviews, and system demonstrations with stakeholders.

Quality & Compliance

• Ensure all deliverables align with organizational standards, security policies, and compliance requirements.
• Maintain detailed documentation for traceability, audit, and future system enhancements.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or System Analyst in IT or enterprise-level projects.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, and Scrum methodologies.
• Experienced in preparing BRD, SRS, process maps, UML diagrams, and project documentation.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Proven ability to lead teams, coordinate multiple stakeholders, and manage priorities effectively.
• Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Bonus Skills

• Experience in government or enterprise digital transformation projects.
• Familiarity with project management tools such as ClickUp, Jira, or Trello.
• Basic understanding of database structures, SQL, and API integration concepts.
• Exposure to cloud platforms, data analytics, or business intelligence tools.
