Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee tax provision and reporting, including preparation and review of monthly and quarterly current and deferred tax computations
• Manage and review all tax submissions (Income Tax, Service Tax, Withholding Tax, CP58), ensuring full compliance with statutory deadlines
• Oversee Transfer Pricing (TP) documentation, Country-by-Country Reporting (CbCR), and Global Minimum Tax (QDMTT) requirements
• Collaborate closely with external stakeholders, tax authorities, and consultants on tax-related matters
• Identify tax planning opportunities to optimize tax efficiency and minimize exposure
• Act as the key liaison with tax authorities, handling queries, audits, and providing internal tax advisory support
• Support business units with strategic tax insights and ensure alignment with regulatory requirements
• Undertake ad-hoc assignments and projects as assigned by Management

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or professional qualification (ACCA / CPA preferred)
• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in corporate tax or taxation
• Strong hands-on experience in deferred tax and indirect tax
• At least 2–3 years of commercial experience within an MNC environment
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel with solid accounting knowledge
• Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM8,500.00 - RM11,000.00 per month
