Role Summary
The Business Analyst role sits at the bridge between business users and technical teams, ensuring that technology initiatives align with business strategies and add value by enhancing performance and productivity. You need to analyze business needs, document requirements, user stories, business process flow and translate them into functional specifications that the technical team can implement. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across departments, understanding how systems are used in the real world, and turning business problems into practical technology solutions. This role reports to the Business Analyst Manager and the role resides in IT Department.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with business users to gather, analyse, and document requirements for Change Requests, system enhancements, and internal IT projects.
- Translate business needs into clear functional requirements, user stories, workflows, and system specifications.
- Create wireframes and mock-ups to visualise system changes, new screens, or process flows for stakeholder review and alignment.
- Develop and maintain business process models (e.g. as-is and to-be flows) to support analysis and solution design.
- Manage and engage stakeholders across different departments to clarify needs, align expectations, and resolve requirement gaps.
- Support the end-to-end Change Request lifecycle, including requirement gathering, impact analysis, documentation, UAT, and closure.
- Assist the Business Analyst Manager in delivering internal system enhancement and digitalisation projects.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by preparing test cases, coordinating testing, and tracking issues or defects.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of experience in a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role.
- Strong systems thinking — able to see the big picture while also working through detailed functional and process-level requirements.
- Ability to produce clear functional documentation, wireframes, and process models.
- Good understanding of business process modelling and end-to-end operational flows.
- Comfortable engaging and managing multiple stakeholders across business and IT teams.
- Able to work well in a fast-paced, changing environment with shifting priorities and timelines.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic understanding of SDLC, UAT, and system delivery cycles.
- Good understanding of Database Systems and Data Flow. Knowledge of SQL is a plus.
- Hands-on experience in POS, ERP, and/or Inventory Management systems is a plus.
- Familiarity with tools such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and diagramming or wireframing tools (e.g. Visio, *************, Figma, etc.).
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to juggle multiple tasks.
