Area Manager (Supermarket) – Job Scope

1. Operations Management

• Monitor daily operations for multiple supermarket outlets.
• Ensure all branches achieve smooth and efficient operations.
• Maintain cleanliness, product display, and store standards.
• Ensure compliance with company SOPs and policies.

2. Sales & Performance Monitoring

• Monitor sales performance and outlet KPIs.
• Analyze sales reports and identify improvement opportunities.
• Develop strategies to increase sales and profitability.
• Ensure outlets achieve monthly sales targets.

3. Staff Management

• Supervise Outlet Managers and store employees.
• Conduct staff training, coaching, and performance evaluations.
• Handle staff discipline, attendance, and scheduling issues.
• Assist in recruitment and manpower planning.

4. Inventory & Stock Control

• Monitor stock availability and minimize stock shortages.
• Ensure proper inventory management and stock rotation.
• Reduce stock loss, wastage, and shrinkage.
• Coordinate with warehouse and purchasing departments.

5. Customer Service Management

• Ensure excellent customer service at all outlets.
• Handle customer complaints and resolve operational issues.
• Improve customer satisfaction and shopping experience.

6. Financial & Cost Control

• Monitor outlet expenses and operational costs.
• Ensure proper cash handling and daily closing procedures.
• Review profit margins and outlet performance.

7. Reporting & Communication

• Prepare operational and sales reports for management.
• Conduct regular outlet visits and audits.
• Communicate company updates and operational plans to branches.

8. Marketing & Promotions

• Ensure promotional activities are properly executed.
• Monitor product pricing and promotional displays.
• Coordinate with marketing team for campaigns and events.

9. Compliance & Safety

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal regulations.
• Monitor security and loss prevention measures.
• Ensure outlets follow hygiene and food safety standards.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
