Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Executive to manage sourcing, purchasing, supplier coordination, and tender-related activities within the pet industry. The ideal candidate should have experience in procurement operations, vendor negotiations, inventory coordination, and strong knowledge of government and corporate tender processes, including the ePerolehan system.
Key Responsibilities
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for pet products, raw materials, packaging, and operational supplies.
- Prepare purchase orders and monitor delivery schedules to ensure timely supply.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and service providers.
- Compare quotations and ensure cost-effective purchasing strategies.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with warehouse and operations teams.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures.
- Handle supplier performance evaluation and documentation.
- Assist in cost analysis and budgeting for procurement activities.
- Prepare procurement reports and maintain accurate purchasing records.
- Manage and participate in tender submissions, RFQ, RFP, and contract documentation.
- Handle government procurement processes via the ePerolehan system.
- Ensure all tender documents are complete, accurate, and submitted within deadlines.
- Coordinate with internal departments regarding tender requirements and compliance.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of working experience in procurement or purchasing.
- Experience in the pet industry, FMCG, retail, or related industry is an advantage.
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with tender management and ePerolehan system is REQUIRED.
- Familiar with government procurement procedures and documentation.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
Pay: From RM3,000.00 per month
