Job Responsibilities

• Engineering Design & Analysis: Assist in the design and calculation of mechanical systems, including HVAC load calculations, pipe sizing, and ductwork routing.
• Technical Drafting: Prepare and amend detailed mechanical shop drawings, schematic diagrams, and layouts using AutoCAD.
• Project Documentation: Manage the preparation and filing of technical submittals, Operation & Maintenance Manuals (OMM), and project completion documents.
• Coordination & Liaison: Coordinate with consultants and architects to resolve design discrepancies and ensure mechanical services integrate seamlessly with the overall building design.
• Tender & Estimation: Assist in performing quantity take-offs (QTO) and compiling technical data for tender submissions and cost estimations.
• Procurement Support: Review technical specifications of equipment and materials from vendors to ensure they meet project requirements.
• Progress Reporting: Update project schedules and prepare internal status reports to keep management informed on engineering milestones.

Job Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant engineering discipline.
• Experience: 0–2 years of experience in an engineering office or M&E firm. Fresh graduates with a strong academic focus on design are encouraged to apply.
• Technical Skills: Sound knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, fluid mechanics, and thermodynamics related to building services.
• Software Proficiency: High proficiency in AutoCAD is essential. Experience with Revit (BIM) or specialized engineering calculation software is highly preferred.
• Attention to Detail: Excellent meticulousness in checking drawings and technical data for accuracy.
• Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills for professional correspondence with consultants and internal teams.
• Mobility: While primarily office-based, must possess own transport for occasional travel to meetings or brief site walkthroughs.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
