Job Summary
The Construction Engineer (Senior / Lead) is responsible for leading and coordinating all Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical (CME) construction activities on site. This role provides technical leadership, planning, coordination, and decision-making, while supervising site engineers and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and in compliance with specifications and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Coordination
- Lead and manage CME construction works across assigned projects.
- Provide technical direction and guidance to Assistant Construction Engineers and site teams.
- Coordinate with Project Manager, consultants, clients, and authorities on technical and site matters.
Planning & Technical Control
- Review construction drawings, method statements, and work schedules.
- Plan work sequencing, manpower allocation, and resource requirements.
- Resolve technical issues and provide solutions during construction.
CME Oversight
- Oversee civil works, mechanical installations, and electrical works to ensure compliance with design and standards.
- Ensure integration and coordination between civil, mechanical, and electrical disciplines.
- Monitor critical activities and ensure quality benchmarks are met.
Safety, Quality & Compliance
- Enforce HSE requirements and ensure site compliance with statutory regulations.
- Review risk assessments, method statements, and quality records.
- Lead site inspections and quality audits.
Reporting & Control
- Monitor site progress and report to Project Manager.
- Review variation works, site measurements, and progress claims.
- Support testing, commissioning, and project handover.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
- 5–8 years of construction experience with strong exposure to CME works.
- Proven leadership experience in managing site teams and contractors.
Strong knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, and standards
ROLE : CONSTRUCTION ENGINEER (SITE-BASED – CME)

The Construction Engineer is a site-based role responsible for supervising day-to-day construction activities under the direction of the Construction Engineer (Senior / Lead). This role focuses on site execution, inspections, coordination, and reporting to ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings, schedules, and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Site Supervision
- Supervise daily civil, mechanical, and electrical (CME) works on site.
- Ensure works are executed in accordance with drawings, method statements, and instructions.
- Monitor workmanship quality and report issues to the Senior Construction Engineer.
Contractor & Workforce Coordination
- Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, and workers on site.
- Monitor manpower deployment and productivity.
- Assist in conducting toolbox talks and daily site briefings.
Safety & Quality Implementation
- Ensure compliance with site safety rules and HSE requirements.
- Assist in inspections, quality checks, and rectification works.
- Report safety incidents, non-conformances, and site issues.
Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare daily site reports, progress updates, and inspection records.
- Assist in site measurements, material tracking, and verification of works.
- Support preparation of as-built drawings and handover documents.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
- 1–4 years of site construction experience with exposure to CME works.
- Able to read and understand construction drawings with guidance.
- Willingness to work full-time on site and follow instructions from the Senior Engineer.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
