About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Safety Supervisor to join our team at SHANGHAI BAOYE GROUP (MALAYSIA) SDN.BHD' in Puncak Alam, Selangor. As a full-time Site Safety Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health, safety and environmental compliance of our construction projects.

What you'll be doing

• Conducting regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential safety hazards
• Implementing and monitoring safety policies, procedures and best practices to create a safe working environment
• Providing safety training and coaching to workers to promote a culture of safety awareness
• Investigating incidents and accidents, and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to safety and environmental management
• Collaborating with project managers, contractors and other stakeholders to address safety-related concerns

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Site Safety Supervisor or a similar role in the construction industry
• Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations, including OSHA, DOSH, CIDB and other relevant standards
• Ability to interpret and apply safety and environmental regulations to construction operations
• Proficient in conducting risk assessments, job hazard analyses and developing safety plans
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with workers and stakeholders
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to make prompt decisions in emergency situations
• Proficient in using safety monitoring and documentation software
• Registered as Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) with Department Of Occupational Safety & Health, with valid Yellow Book.
