About the Role

INFINE DESIGN is looking for a technically strong Furniture Designer to support our custom carpentry and interior fit-out projects. This role focuses on transforming interior design concepts into precise, production-ready furniture and cabinet drawings.

You will work closely with Interior Designers and the production team to ensure designs are practical, manufacturable, and aligned with site requirements. This role also involves preparing CNC cutting data using Haixun software and contributing creative ideas for custom furniture development.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret and develop cabinet and furniture detailing from 2D & 3D interior design drawings
• Produce technical shop drawings, cutting lists, and construction details for production
• Ensure all drawings meet manufacturing feasibility and site measurement requirements
• Prepare and optimize CNC cutting files using Haixun software
• Coordinate with Production Supervisor and CNC operators for smooth fabrication workflow
• Resolve technical design issues during production stage
• Suggest improvements in material usage, joinery methods, and structural detailing
• Maintain proper documentation control for revisions and production drawings
• Contribute innovative ideas for custom furniture design and modular systems

Technical Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Furniture Design / Interior Design / Wood Technology / Carpentry
• Minimum 1–3 years experience in cabinet or custom furniture detailing
• Strong proficiency in SketchUp, AutoCAD, or similar technical drafting software
• Hands-on experience with Haixun CNC software (or similar CNC nesting software)
• Solid understanding of carpentry structure, joinery, materials, and hardware systems
• Knowledge of production workflow and CNC-based manufacturing
• High attention to detail and strong technical problem-solving ability

Soft Skills

• Able to communicate effectively with designers and production teams
• Organized and capable of managing multiple drawing revisions
• Proactive in identifying design-to-production challenges early

Working Arrangement

Based at office + factory coordination.
Close collaboration with Interior Designers, Production Supervisor, and CNC team.
