Job description:

• Set up and operate 3-axis, 4-axis and or 5-axis CNC milling machines according to procedures, programs and engineering drawings to manufacture machined parts efficiently and to specifications.

• Change cutting tools and adjust machines feed and speeds as needed.

• Responsible in CNC machine setup for junior level CNC Machinist to help eliminate non-conformance and machine down time.

• Setup and operate CNC Machines to produce parts as per drawing and within specifications.

• Setup, operate and maintains measuring equipment, gauges and fixtures for inspection.

• Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of work area at all time.

• Responsible for material wastage control, manufacturing cost reduction and compliance with safety requirements.

• Identify roots cause and corrective action to resolve production process and quality issues.

• Use prescribed procedures to inspect parts produced to assure compliance with specification and quality requirements that will eliminate defects, scrap and rework.

• Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and orderly condition daily, report defective machine, equipment, material and/or faulty operations to supervisor.

• To communicate effectively with CNC Programmers, supervisors and/or other CNC machinists during problem resolution and instruction.

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Certificated on related field.

• Fully skilled time served engineer/tool maker with 2 to 3 years of CNC milling experience.

• Used to working to fine tolerances with all materials.

• Able to interpret engineering drawings.

• Able to use a wide variety of measuring equipment.

• FANUC and G&M Code experience desirable.

• Able to work under own initiative.

• Familiar with Mazak , DMG Mori & Fanuc CNC Machines

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
