Role Description

We are seeking a Service & Support Technician for a full-time, on-site role based in Greater Malacca & Penang. The role involves providing technical support to ensure the proper installation, maintenance, and repair of semiconductor equipment and systems. Responsibilities include diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues, performing equipment testing and calibration, and supporting the implementation of software and factory automation solutions. The technician will also collaborate with internal teams and customers to address service-related queries and ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Technical Support and Troubleshooting, with the ability to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Knowledge in Information Technology, including understanding of fundamental IT systems and processes relevant to the role.
• Strong Communication skills to effectively interact with internal teams and customers, ensuring clarity and customer satisfaction.
• Familiarity with Software installation, testing, and troubleshooting processes.
• Additional qualifications such as relevant technical certifications and/or experience in the semiconductor industry are advantageous.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, on-site environment.
