Responsibilities
The Social Media Marketing Executive is responsible for supporting and executing marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness, promote company products/services, and support business growth. This role involves digital marketing, content creation, event coordination, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns (online and offline)
2. Create content and marketing materials to strengthen branding and identity
3. Manage social media platforms and develop engaging content
4. Coordinate with suppliers, designers, vendors, and media partners for promotional materials
5. Monitor market trends, customer preferences, and competitors to support marketing strategy
6. Conduct market research and prepare campaign performance reports
7. Assist in organizing company events, exhibitions, and product launches
8. Support marketing initiatives during weekend events and launches when required
9. Update and maintain company website, e-commerce platforms, and marketing tools
10. Support sales team with marketing materials and product information
11. Prepare monthly reports on marketing activities and KPIs
QUALIFICATION NEEDED/ REQUIREMENTS:
1. Diploma/Degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Public Relations, Business Administration, or related field
2. Minimum 1–2 years of marketing experience (fresh grads with strong portfolios are welcomed)
3. Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken)
4. Creative, proactive, and able to work independently
5. Familiar with social media tools, basic graphic design (Canva)
6. Willing to work on weekends occasionally for company events and product launches
SKILLS REQUIRED:
1. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
2. Good content creation and copywriting abilities
3. Creative thinking with strong attention to detail
4. Good presentation and coordination skills
5. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
6. Basic knowledge of digital marketing and social media analytics
7. Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
8. Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office and marketing-related tools
9. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
10. Basic photography, videography, or editing skills would be an added advantage
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
