Responsibilities

Overview

We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Supply Chain professional to join our team at the Assistant Manager / Senior Executive level. This role is ideal for candidates with strong experience in retail or FMCG environments, who are passionate about optimizing operations, improving efficiencies, and driving business performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Procurement & Vendor Management:

Lead sourcing initiatives, negotiate competitive contracts, and build strong supplier relationships to ensure cost efficiency and service excellence.

  • Inventory & Replenishment Planning:

Manage inventory levels across outlets/warehouses, ensuring optimal stock availability while minimizing excess and shrinkage.

  • Logistics & Distribution:

Oversee end-to-end logistics operations, including transportation planning, warehousing, and last-mile delivery to retail outlets.

  • Demand Forecasting & Planning:

Analyze historical sales data, promotions, and market trends to generate accurate demand forecasts and support business growth.

  • Performance Monitoring & Process Improvement:

Track and analyze supply chain KPIs (e.g., inventory turnover, fill rate, lead time) and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Risk & Compliance Management:

Identify potential supply chain risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure operational continuity.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Partner closely with Sales, Merchandising, Finance, and Operations teams to align supply chain strategies with business goals.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience:
  • 3–6 years (Senior Executive) or 5–8 years (Assistant Manager) of relevant experience
  • Mandatory experience in retail, FMCG, or multi-outlet environments
  • Technical Skills:
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar)
  • Strong proficiency in Excel/data analysis tools
  • Core Competencies:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability
