Job Description

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Planning & ExecutionLead multiple engineering projects from conceptual design through to final handover, ensuring adherence to budget, timeline, safety protocols, and quality standards.
    Develop detailed project plans, including scope, milestones, resource allocation, and risk assessments.
  • Resource & Task ManagementPrioritize tasks and allocate manpower efficiently to maximize resource utilization and meet critical deadlines.
    Monitor project progress and performance against the plan; proactively address deviations.
  • Bid & Compliance LeadershipSupport the preparation of competitive bid tenders for new projects.
    Ensure full compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and contractual obligations.
  • Change & Risk ManagementEvaluate, authorize, and implement project changes impacting scope, budget, or schedule.
    Identify operational risks, resolve issues promptly, and minimize delays.
  • Technical Leadership & SupportLead high-complexity or critical projects, providing hands-on technical guidance.
    Offer expert support in equipment selection and system design to clients and on-site teams.
    Participate in technical discussions and progress meetings with clients, M&E consultants, main contractors, and subcontractors.
  • Safety & Quality AssuranceCollaborate with the Safety Coordinator/Officer to plan, assess, and implement robust project safety systems.
    Champion a safety-first culture on-site and enforce compliance with HSE standards.
  • Additional DutiesPerform other ad-hoc responsibilities as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on project engineering experience in [industry/sector, e.g., construction, Electrical ].
  • Strong knowledge of project management tools (e.g., MS Project, ) and engineering software.
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and leadership skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities for client and team engagement.
  • Familiarity with local regulatory and safety standards.
