Full Time Industrial Trainee (QS, Engineering - HSE) Jobs, in George Kent (Malaysia) Berhad Selangor - Maukerja

The Industrial Trainee will assist and support the assigned department in daily operations, project coordination, site activities, documentation and reporting functions. The trainee will gain practical exposure and hands-on experience in the construction industry while learning company procedures and professional practices.

Key Responsibilities

Quantity Surveying (QS)

• Assist in quantity take-off and cost estimation.

• Support preparation of tender and contract documents.

• Assist in monitoring project costing and material usage.

• Prepare and organize project-related documents and reports.

• Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors and site personnel.

Engineering

• Assist engineers in project planning, coordination and execution.

• Support site supervision and monitoring of construction activities.

• Prepare technical documents, reports and drawings.

• Assist in inspections, testing and project progress updates.

• Ensure work activities comply with project specifications and requirements.

Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)

• Assist in monitoring safety compliance at project sites.

• Support safety inspections, toolbox meetings and safety briefings.

• Assist in preparing HSE reports and documentation.

• Promote awareness of safety procedures and company policies.

• Assist in maintaining proper safety records and compliance documents.

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess or currently pursuing Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering (Civil or Mechanical) or Occupational Safety & Health.

• Basic knowledge in Microsoft Office applications.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Willing to work at construction site.

• Responsible, proactive and willing to learn.

• Minimum internship duration of at least 10 weeks.
