Job Description

Responsibilities

Data Entry Clerk – Job Scope

Monday to Friday: 830am to 5:30pm (1 hour break)

1. Data Input & Management

  • Accurately input data into systems, spreadsheets, and company databases.

  • Update, verify, and maintain records to ensure data integrity.

  • Enter customer, supplier, project, or operational information as required.

2. Document Handling

  • Prepare, sort, and organize documents for data entry.

  • Scan, upload, and file documents digitally or physically.

  • Ensure all documents are stored in the correct folders and categories.

3. Data Verification

  • Review data for errors, inconsistencies, or missing information.

  • Cross-check information with source documents.

  • Correct any inaccuracies and report discrepancies to the supervisor.

4. Reporting & Tracking

  • Generate simple reports (daily, weekly, or monthly) from the database.

  • Assist in updating trackers, logs, or status sheets.

  • Provide administrative support for ongoing projects.

5. Communication & Coordination

  • Coordinate with internal departments to retrieve required information.

  • Follow up with staff or vendors to clarify unclear data.

  • Maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times.

6. General Administrative Tasks

  • Assist with photocopying, printing, emailing, and other clerical duties.

  • Perform ad hoc tasks assigned by the Admin or Operations team.

  • Support in maintaining organized workstations and document flow.
