Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated Manual Test Analyst with 1–3 years of experience in software testing, preferably within the banking and financial services domain. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute manual test cases for banking applications, ensuring compliance with functional and business requirements.
- Perform system testing, regression testing, and UAT support across core banking modules.
- Document and track defects using tools such as JIRA / HP ALM, and work closely with developers and business analysts to resolve issues.
- Participate in daily stand-ups, walkthroughs, and sprint reviews in Agile environments.
- Prepare test scripts, test data, and test execution reports for stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to quality assurance standards and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 1–3 years of hands-on experience in Manual Testing.
- Strong knowledge of banking domain applications (e.g., payments, core banking, credit/debit card systems, digital banking).
- Familiarity with SDLC/STLC processes and defect management tools (JIRA, HP ALM).
- Ability to analyze requirements, prepare test scenarios, and execute test cases independently.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills for stakeholder interaction.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
