Join us and help the world’s leading organizations unlock the value of technology and build a more sustainable, more inclusive world.

We’re looking for a hands-on Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize robust data pipelines and analytics solutions across our enterprise data ecosystem. You’ll work closely with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to ensure data is reliable, well-modeled, and ready for decision-making

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Pipeline Engineering: Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Hive, Alteryx, Dataiku, and Python to ingest, transform, and curate data from diverse sources (databases, APIs, files, SAP exports).
  • Data Modeling & Warehousing: Build and optimize data models (star/snowflake), marts, and reusable datasets for analytics/BI consumption in Tableau and Power BI.
  • Orchestration & Automation: Implement workflow automation and data quality checkpoints using Power Automate, Dataiku (nice to have) scenarios, and scheduling best practices.
  • Data Quality & Governance: Apply validation, lineage, and reconciliation practices leveraging Infogix Data360 Analyze (or equivalent) to ensure trustworthy data.
  • Cloud & Big Data (Nice-to-have if applicable): Work with cloud storage/compute, query services, and Google BigQuery/Looker Studio for scalable processing and reporting.
  • Visualization Enablement: Partner with analytics teams to provision certified datasets and publish content to Tableau Server / Power BI Service; manage performance, permissions, and governance.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Translate business requirements into technical specifications; deliver reliable data for reporting, experimentation, and advanced analytics.
  • Performance & Cost Optimization: Tune queries (especially Hive/SQL), optimize storage formats/partitions, and implement caching strategies.
  • Documentation & Standards: Maintain clear technical documentation, data dictionaries, and runbooks. Contribute to coding standards and best practices.
  • Support & Operations: Monitor pipelines, troubleshoot incidents, and drive root-cause analysis with an SRE mindset.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, Statistics, or related field or equivalent practical experience.

5 - 7+ years working with analytics/data platforms, including:

  • ETL & Data Wrangling
  • Big Data & Query
  • Scripting: Python and R for data transformation and utilities
  • Data Interchange: JSON
  • Visualization & BI: Tableau Desktop/Prep/Server and Power BI
  • Microsoft 365: Excel, SharePoint 365, Power Automate
  • Data Quality/Governance: Infogix Data360 Analyze
  • Web/Marketing Analytics: Google Analytics, Looker Studio, BigQuery
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, warehousing concepts, and SDLC for data projects.
  • Experience with version control (e.g., Git) and CI/CD concepts for data workflows.
  • Proven ability to optimize queries, debug pipeline issues, and manage data reliability in production.

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) including data services (e.g., S3/GCS/ADLS, Databricks, Synapse, BigQuery).
  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Airflow, Prefect).
  • Exposure to APIs, event streams (Kafka), or real-time/near-real-time data processing.
  • Knowledge of data catalog/lineage tools and governance frameworks.
  • Experience building and publishing Tableau extensions or Power BI custom visuals.
