• Prepare and develop accurate 2D/3D technical drawings for marine structures, vessels, barges, piping systems, and related components.
• Interpret engineering concepts, sketches, and specifications into detailed technical drawings and design documentation.
• Perform basic naval architectural and structural calculations, including stability, strength, transportation, and sea fastening calculations.
• Assist in vessel/barge design, structural integrity checks, and marine engineering documentation.
• Update and revise drawings based on engineering changes, field/site adjustments, and client requirements.
• Coordinate with engineering, project, construction, and commissioning teams to resolve technical and design-related issues.
• Liaise with clients, classification societies, and marine warranty surveyors when required.
• Ensure all drawings and designs comply with relevant marine industry standards and engineering practices.
• Support fabrication, installation, and production teams with technical drawings and documentation.
• Maintain organized drawing records and engineering files.
• Provide engineering and drafting support at project sites when required.
• Willing to travel for project/site requirements.

Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, Drafting, or related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in shipbuilding, marine design, offshore, or shipyard environment preferred.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and/or other 2D/3D CAD software.
• Familiar with marine structural design, vessel/barge systems, and technical drawing standards.
• Knowledge of classification society rules, marine engineering standards, and approval processes is an advantage.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience in marine/offshore construction or shipyard projects is preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office and engineering software tools.

Pay: $3,000.00 - $4,500.00 per month
