Requirements
- Diploma in Quantity Surveying or related field .
- Minimum 2 yeras of experience in a Quantity Surveyor role , preferably in the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts , cost management and quantity surveying principles.
- Execellent communication,negotiation and problem -solving skills.
- Proficent in using construction -related software ,scuh as Microsoft office, Microsoft project,AutoCad will be an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accurancy.
Responsibilities
- Preparing and analysing detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
- Negotiaitng and managing contracts with subcontractors and supplier .
- Monitoring and controlling project costs to ensure they stay within budget.
- Preparing and submitting progress reports ,variation orders and final accounts.
- Providing expert advice and support to the project team on contractual and commercial matters.
- Identifying and mitigating potential risks and issues that may impact project costs and timelines.
- Collaborating with the project management team to ensure the successful delivery of construction projects.
