Role Overview
We are looking for an energetic, resourceful, and detail-oriented Business Development Intern to join our growth team. In this role, you will be the engine room of our market expansion efforts, driving lead generation, conducting market intelligence, and supporting the senior team in securing new partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and research potential corporate clients, partners, and decision-makers through LinkedIn, industry directories, and market news.
- Conduct competitor analysis to track market trends, pricing strategies, and new product offerings.
- Qualify incoming leads to ensure they match our ideal customer profile (ICP) before passing them to senior BD managers.
- Assist in drafting highly personalized, compelling outreach emails and messages to prospective clients.
- Maintain data integrity within our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system by accurately logging touchpoints, updating client profiles, and tracking deal stages.
- Coordinate and schedule introductory meetings between prospective clients and senior team members.
- Help customize pitch decks, proposals, and marketing collateral to address the specific pain points of prospective clients.
- Prepare brief background profiles on target companies and executives prior to major pitch meetings.
- Assist in compiling weekly/monthly progress reports on lead generation metrics and campaign conversion rates.
- Participate in team brainstorming sessions to contribute fresh ideas for market entry strategies.
