Full Time Senior Manager - Data Engineering solutions Jobs, Salary up to SGD 9,000 in SYNAPXE PTE. LTD. West Region (Singapore) - Maukerja

We are hiring a Senior Manager, who will be using the big data in the public healthcare, to analyse, design and develop data analytics solutions that provide strategic insights to improve decision-making in Singapore healthcare system. 

Roles & Responsibilities

Project Leadership 

• Oversee a diverse portfolio of data engineering projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
• Lead and mentor a team of data engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Work closely with project managers and business analysts to strategically drive project demands and ensure alignment with business goals.

Champion of Best Practices

• Establish and enforce standards for data engineering practices, including development, testing, and implementation.
• Continuously evaluate and improve processes to enhance efficiency and quality

Communication Skills:

• The ability to present complex technical concepts clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.
• Responsible for delivering engaging presentations that resonate with technical architects, directors, business users, and data owners alike.
• Ability to translate intricate data insights into understandable language will be crucial in fostering collaboration and driving informed decision-making across the organization

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science / engineering, Information Technology / System or a related field.
• Minimum 12 years of experience as a Senior Data Engineer, with a strong track record of managing projects and leading teams.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
• Proficiency in data warehousing, data analytics, lakehouse architecture, and AWS technologies.
• Proficiency and relevant experience in one or more of the following areas:

o   Informatica IDMC and Databricks experience

o   Data visualisation tools such as Tableau, OBIEE

o   Working knowledge on BI standard languages such as R, Python, SQL, Apache Spark

o   AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate, AWS Certified Data Engineer - Associate or higher

o   Databricks and IDMC certification will be advantageous

•  Experience in healthcare industry, with broad understanding of healthcare business processes like patient administration, patient medical and non-medical services are a plus.
