QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• At least 1 year of development, implementation and/or maintenance of sensor-related systems/platforms in production environment.
• At least 1 year of experience in sensor and IoT device integration as part of IoT/OT system implementations.
• Experience in deployment, maintenance and integration of IoT / OT systems would be an advantage, including AWS IoT Greengrass, Azure IoT Edge, industrial protocols (RS-485, Modbus RTU, ModbusTCP), interoperability standards (OPC-UA), embedded protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, CAN), edge computing and embedded systems integration.
• Proficient in one or more programming languages such as C++, Python, .NET, Java, or equivalent technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate, implement and maintain IoT systems and edge to deliver seamless integration between sensor hardware, edge and backend systems using relevant protocols (e.g. MQTT, RabbitMQ, AMQP, HTTPS REST API, CoAP, etc.)
• Perform hardware-software integration testing and validation
• Create and conduct comprehensive unit and integration system test cases
• Perform impact analysis for change request (e.g. sensor upgrade with additional parameters)
