As a Project Engineer, you will be integral in preparing and executing various offshore projects, acting as the bridge between the project team and the operational crew. Your role is vital in ensuring that projects are executed efficiently and effectively, contributing to our clients mission of sustainable solutions in marine engineering.
Primary Tasks and responsibilities
- Prepare, review and submit Daily Progress Reports (DPRs) with technical details, productivity, deviations, and mitigation actions.
- Manage Management of Change (MOC) requests and Technical Queries (TQ) from operations/engineering and coordinate responses with client
- Ensure work is executed to specifications, quality standards, and method statements.
- Preferable experience with conductor driving (hammering operations)
- Demob activities to be done
- Conduct and witness (together with client) ITP inspections and hold points and reporting of the completion certificates.
- Permit to work documents to be prepared prior start of shifts.
Technical profile requirements
- +7 years of experience in Project Engineering in a marine environment.
- In-depth understanding of dredging operations and vessel management.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
- Strong knowledge of engineering principles and practices related to marine and civil engineering.
Non-Technical profile requirements
- Extensive experience in project management, particularly in dredging and vessel projects.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Commitment to safety and compliance with regulations.
Methodology/Certification requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Marine Engineering or related field
- Fluent speaking and writing English, proficiency in other languages is a major plus
