Job Description – Project Manager (Cybersecurity & Cloud Infrastructure)

Team: Presales / Operations / Service Delivery

Designation: Project Manager

Location: Selangor, Malaysia

Shift: Day Shift (Flexible for critical milestones and on-call support)

Experience Required: Minimum 6+ years of hands-on experience delivering complex Cybersecurity and Cloud Infrastructure projects with strong strategic and technical execution capabilities.


Job Role

Partner with global leadership to drive end-to-end project execution across cybersecurity and cloud infrastructure initiatives. Lead project planning, strategic proposal development, and ensure operational delivery excellence from presales transition through implementation and closure.


Key Responsibilities


Project & Delivery Management

  • Manage full project lifecycle including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
  • Translate strategic strawman proposals into structured project plans and execution frameworks.
  • Drive delivery excellence in high-pressure, mission-critical environments.
  • Ensure adherence to scope, timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Provide executive-level reporting and stakeholder updates.


Presales & Solution Alignment

  • Collaborate with presales, solutioning, sales, and marketing teams to ensure seamless project transition.
  • Support proposal development, scope definition, resource planning, and roadmap visualization.
  • Align delivery strategies with business objectives and customer expectations.


Cybersecurity & Cloud Project Oversight

  • Oversee implementation of security solutions, SOC operations initiatives, and professional consulting engagements.
  • Ensure projects align with global compliance and governance standards such as: ISO 27001, NIST-CSF, SOC2, CIS Controls, GDPR, CMMC
  • Maintain working awareness of Cloud Architecture (Azure/AWS), Multitenancy, and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.
  • Leverage AI and LLM tools to enhance service delivery efficiency where applicable.


Operational Excellence & Governance

  • Implement best practices for new customer onboarding, implementation frameworks, and standardized design templates.
  • Ensure alignment with Service Operations frameworks (ISO 20000 & ITIL processes).
  • Maintain high-quality technical and compliance documentation.
  • Utilize enterprise ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira, Remedy) for workflow governance and tracking.


Stakeholder & Team Leadership

  • Lead cross-functional teams within a matrix organization.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical teams and C-suite stakeholders.
  • Drive process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Demonstrate strong decision-making capabilities and proactive leadership.


Essential Technical Skills

  • Project/Program Management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum Master.
  • Expertise in project strategy, lifecycle management, and execution under high-pressure environments.
  • Strong hands-on command of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio) and Project tools for roadmap visualization.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Security Solutions, SOC Operations, and Technical Consulting services.
  • Awareness of Network Security, Endpoint Protection, Servers, Databases, and Operating Systems.
  • Good understanding of Cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) and Infrastructure-as-Code concepts.
  • Experience in AI and LLM usability within service delivery frameworks.


Non-Technical Skills

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to influence and lead cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL and ISO 20000 Service Delivery frameworks.
  • Exposure to global compliance standards (ISO 27001, NIST-CSF, SOC2, CIS, GDPR, CMMC).
  • Practical experience with enterprise ticketing platforms.
  • Innovative mindset with strong analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Proactive approach to internal process improvement and best-practice adoption.
