Full Time Site Safety Supervisor Jobs, in Edge Design & Contracts (842728-X) Selangor - Maukerja

Job Responsibilities:

• To conduct Tool Box meetings and safety induction prior to starting work.

• To monitor the overall safety, health and environmental activities at the project site.

• To carry out daily surveillance at the workplace/site complete with a checklist signed.

• To coordinate and ensure subcontractor work according to safety regulation and policy along the work site activity including before, during and after site activity.

• To inspect and check subcontractor's work to ensure compliance with the act and regulations.

• To ensure provision of any acts and regulation related to Safety and Health at the workplace is complied with.

• To promote and enforce effective environmental, safety and health practices throughout the project site.

• To verify that all tools and equipment are adequate and safe for use.

• To supervise lifting operation

• To supervise scaffold operations.

• To undertake other duties and responsibilities delegated time to time.

• Identifying and communicating potential design problems to the rest of the team.

• Ensuring that deadlines are met, and drawings are prepared efficiently.

Qualifications:

• Candidate must possess at least a Higher Secondary/STPM/"A" Level/Pre-U, Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Architecture or equivalent.

• Preferably min 2 years' working experience in related field for SHO.

• Valid Green book license & registered with DOSH (for SHO).

• Preferably Managers specializing in safety and health/Architecture/Interior Design or equivalent.

• Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English

• In-depth knowledge of ISO "specify relevant ISO standards" standards.

• Knowledge of construction safety practices.

• Competent and well-versed with the latest Occupational Health & Safety Act.

• Willing to contribute or work for long hours prior for project deliverables.

• Interactive and good in communication.

• Familiar with weekly/Monthly HSE report

• Attend meeting with client/consultant and able to explain on HSE matters

• Able to handle project independently

• Possess own transport.

• Positive working attitude/ discipline, aggressive and proactive
