Responsibilities

GENERAL FUNCTION

The EDP clerk is responsible to monitor and maintain the mainframe computer systems. Data entry clerks gather data and capture the information into databases. This may include gathering documents from various sources. This may also include extracting information from these materials, capturing data into databases and storing/print out hard copies.

DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

• To issue purchase order and carry out posting after approval is obtained from Store head.

• To set promotion save voucher letter from Supplier or Merchandiser (HQ).

• To generate GRN after stock received by Receiving staff and do posting.

• To ensure all GRN are completed on the same day.

• To key in write-off and do posting after department approval is obtained from Store head.

• To issue Inter Branch Transfer (IBT) and do posting

• To prepare and submit all save vouchers claim after promotion period ended.

• To update monthly on all post-mortems and save vouchers claim.

• To submit quantity feedback advice after promotion period ended.

• To prepare report requested by the Operation department (weekly sales comparison, daily sales report for fresh department, consignment counter sales summary list, rice report, price override report, cigarette report, monthly sales purchase summary and hamper report for festive session).

• To prepare report requested by the Finance Department (daily accounting entry, daily sales report, daily collection details, payment by voucher and summarised short or over by bizdate).

• To prepare report requested by the Payment Department (Consignment sales report) twice a month.

• To do filing for all the unpost GRN after checking by Executive.

• To keep all the documents properly and email to concerned department on same day.

• To perform any other duties assigned by the management.

REQUIRED SKILLS / ABILITIES:

• Minimum SPM/ STPM/ diploma or similar

• At least of 1-2 years experience.

• Good command of English & Bahasa Malaysia

• Excellent knowledge of MS Office Word and Excel.

• Good mathematical skill, high accuracy of data entry.

• Strong inter-personal and communication skills.

• Able to work independently with minimum supervision and meet tight deadlines.
