Education & Experience

• Academic Background: SPM, STPM, Certificate, or Diploma in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

• Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in weighbridge operations, warehouse data entry, or gatehouse logistics. Experience in palm oil mills, refineries, or bulk liquid terminals is highly advantageous.

Technical Skills & Operational Knowledge

• Weighbridge System Proficiency:Proven experience operating weighbridge software and systems (specifically theWBDF system or equivalent automated truck-scale software).

• Data Accuracy & Verification: High attention to detail to check, cross-reference, and verify information on sender and receiver weighbridge tickets against physical cargo.

• Basic Logistics & Storage Awareness: Understanding of basic inventory, storage tank assignments, and the importance of receiving supervisor confirmation before cross-docking or discharging liquid cargo.

• Documentation & Record-Keeping: Strong clerical skills to organize, file, and maintain precise physical and digital logs of all inbound and outbound tanker activities.

Soft Skills & Core Competencies

• Integrity & Vigilance: Strong ethical standards to identify, flag, and report quantity discrepancies, weight variances, or suspicious documentation immediately to management.

• Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with truck drivers, security personnel, and the Operations Executive team.

• Problem-Solving & Equipment Maintenance: Proactive mindset to notice and promptly report any hardware malfunctions or calibration issues regarding the weighbridge scale.

• Carry out weighbridge operations and ensure that all incoming and outgoing oil tanker trucks are weighed using the WBDF system.

• Ensure the correct storage tank is used and obtain confirmation from the Supervisor or Operations Executive before receiving or dispatching oil tanker trucks.

• Ensure all information on the sender’s and receiver’s weighbridge tickets is accurate and in accordance with the given instructions.

• Report to the Operations Executive if there are any quantity discrepancies or doubts during weighing operations.

• Record and properly maintain all operational weighbridge tickets for tanker trucks.

• Report all damages or malfunctions involving the weighbridge equipment.
