QUALIFICATIONS AND WORKING EXPERIENCE
Education: SPM (Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia).
Experience: Minimum of 1–3 years of working experience in plantation, agronomy, or agricultural research fields.
Technical Knowledge: Possess knowledge regarding palm oil estate operations, sampling techniques, and data collection.
IT Skills: Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
License: Possess a valid driving license (B2).
Core Skills: Possess good communication and leadership skills.
Attributes: Ability to work independently and capability to work in a field/outdoor environment.
Responsibilities
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES / INDIVIDUAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Supervise daily agronomy research activities in the estate and nursery areas.
Coordinate field workers and research assistants during sampling activities, data collection, and research execution.
Ensure all agronomy research activities are carried out according to established research protocols and work schedules.
Ensure that yield records, vegetative measurements, and soil and leaf sampling are conducted accurately and systematically.
Review and verify research data before submission to the responsible officer or researcher.
Ensure that research areas, equipment, and workplaces are maintained in good condition and order.
Prepare and submit work progress reports and research reports within the stipulated timelines.
Assist research officers in resolving research-related issues in the field.
Ensure safety procedures and company regulations are strictly adhered to during field operations.
Liaise and collaborate with estate management and other departments regarding research activities.
