Job Description

Responsibilities

Company Description Player Support - Global focuses on solving human-centered challenges in customer service, moderation, trust and safety, and network monitoring and triage for the video games industry. The organization partners with clients to design tailored support solutions rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all model. Its senior team members are experienced industry professionals who understand core business priorities and player expectations. Player Support - Global emphasizes continuous improvement in efficiency while maintaining high-quality service where it matters most for players. Team members join a collaborative, game-focused environment that values innovation, accountability, and player experience.
Role Description The Collections Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Kuala Lumpur. This role oversees day-to-day collections activities, including monitoring outstanding accounts, setting collection priorities, and guiding the collections team to meet targets while maintaining a player-focused approach. The Collections Supervisor will review aging reports, analyze payment trends, and recommend strategies to reduce delinquency and bad debt. They will handle escalated cases, communicate with internal stakeholders in finance and customer support, and ensure compliance with internal policies and relevant regulations. The role also involves coaching and mentoring team members, conducting performance reviews, preparing collection performance reports, and identifying process improvements to optimize efficiency and player experience.
Qualifications
  • Strong background in debt collection, with experience managing collection processes and resolving complex or escalated cases.
  • Well-developed analytical skills to interpret aging reports, identify trends, assess risk, and recommend data-driven collection strategies.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills to negotiate payment solutions, handle sensitive conversations, and collaborate across teams.
  • Foundational understanding of finance principles related to credit, invoicing, and accounts receivable management.
  • Previous supervisory or team lead experience in collections, customer service, or a related area, ideally within a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work on-site in Kuala Lumpur and collaborate effectively with cross-functional, multicultural teams in a global organization.
  • Proficiency with collection and CRM systems, spreadsheets, and reporting tools; familiarity with gaming or digital services is an advantage.
  • Post-secondary education in finance, business, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience) is preferred.
