Job Summary: -
The Assistant Manager – Legal is responsible for providing legal advisory and operational support to the Company in relation to commercial, corporate, and property-related legal matters. The role ensures legal compliance, manages legal documentation, supports litigation matters, and safeguards the Company’s legal interests in business transactions.
The position also supervises legal documentation processes and coordinates with internal stakeholders, external solicitors, and regulatory authorities.
Job Responsibilities: -
1. Provide legal support and guidance on matters relating to tenancy agreements, sale and purchase agreements, and property-related transactions.
2. Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents (such as tenancy agreements, subletting agreements, hostel agreements, letters of demand, etc.) and various commercial agreements (such as Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA), Service Agreements, Supply Agreements, Vendor Agreements, etc.)
3. Liaise and coordinate with tenants, property owners, bankers, government authorities, agents, and external legal counsel in relation to real estate and corporate transactions.
4. Provide guidance to internal departments on contractual matters, legal risk exposure, and compliance issues.
5. Maintain proper legal documentation management and record keeping for all legal files and agreements.
6. Assist in developing and improving legal policies, procedures, and contract templates.
7. Provide legal advisory support on regulatory compliance matters and monitor legal developments affecting company operations.
8. Support the Legal Manager / Head of Legal in legal strategy, dispute management, and corporate governance matters.
9. Supervise junior legal staff or administrative personnel where applicable.
10. Perform any other legal or compliance-related duties assigned by Management
Job Requirement: -

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
