JOB PURPOSE:

• Engineer end‑to‑end analytics solutions by designing scalable data models and production‑grade architectures that convert complex business requirements into trusted analytical assets.
• Ensure data quality, platform resilience, and meaningful insights to drive effective business decisions.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Strategic Data Consulting

Partner with business and technical stakeholders to translate complex strategic objectives into

clear data architecture requirements and executable analytics solution roadmaps.

Enterprise Data Modelling & Architecture

Design, implement, and maintain enterprise‑grade data models, data warehouses, and data marts

to establish a trusted, scalable, and governed data foundation.

Data Pipeline Engineering

Develop, optimize, and operate robust ELT/ETL pipelines using Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, and

SQL to ensure reliable, efficient, and seamless enterprise data flows.

Data Quality & Governance Enablement

Design and deploy automated data quality monitoring, validation rules, and technical controls to

continuously enforce defined data quality standards across analytics solutions.

Analytics Enablement & Insights Delivery

Engineer reusable semantic layers, self‑service data assets, and high‑impact Power BI

visualisations, while performing advanced ad‑hoc analysis using SQL and Python to deliver

actionable business insights.

End‑to‑End Solution Engineering Excellence

Execute full lifecycle solution delivery from MVP to production, adhering to engineering best

practices, DevOps standards, documentation requirements, and performance optimisation to

ensure sustainable, scalable analytics platforms.

Execute Departmental Initiatives

Actively contribute technical expertise and content to Data Governance & Analytics (DGA) and

Advanced Data Analytics (ADA) programmes, including the execution of knowledge-sharing

sessions and capability development initiatives.

REQUIREMENT & EXPERIENCE:

Fresh graduate can be considered for this role. Candidates with relevant experiences will be added

advantage:

• Cloud-Based Solutions: Proven track record in developing and managing innovative cloud- based data solutions (AWS/Azure/GCP/Alibaba Cloud etc).
• Data Management: Extensive hands-on experience in big data management, data warehousing, and data governance.
• Project Management: Demonstrated ability to support data project management through planning, execution, and successful delivery.
• Collaboration: Strong team player with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders.
• Data Analytics: Expertise in data analytics, particularly in finance and management reporting, along with advanced Excel financial modelling skills.
• Data Analytics Solutions: Skilled in developing and implementing cutting-edge data analytics solutions (SQL, Python, R, VB, JavaScript, Power BI).
• Financial Insights: Experience in involvement in financial insights and management accounting (SAP)

Educational Background:

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, Accounting, Data Science, Data Analytics, or a related field. Academic exposure to accounting, finance, investment, or business is advantageous.
• A Master’s degree or professional accounting qualification (e.g., CIMA, CFA, MBA, MSc) is an added advantage.

Technical Skills:

• Knowledge or certification in statistics and data analysis.
• Familiarity with ERP Financial Solutions, particularly SAP FICO & BPC, is highly preferred.

Additional Qualifications:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools and techniques. o Experience with data mining, transformation, and modelling.
