Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for a Computer Vision Engineer / Cloud Engineer based in Sengkang, with flexibility for some work from home. The role involves designing, developing, and deploying computer vision models and algorithms for real-world applications. The engineer will build and maintain scalable cloud-based infrastructures, including data pipelines, APIs, and services that support machine learning and image processing workloads. Daily tasks include writing clean, efficient code, integrating computer vision solutions with existing platforms, and monitoring system performance and reliability. The role also includes troubleshooting production issues, implementing security best practices in cloud environments, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to refine requirements and deliver robust technical solutions. Documentation, code reviews, and continuous improvement of tools and processes are integral to the position.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Engineering and Computer Science, with the ability to apply core principles to computer vision and cloud-based systems.
• Proficiency in Software Development, including coding in relevant languages (e.g., Python, C++, or similar), version control, testing, and debugging.
• Hands-on experience with Troubleshooting complex systems, including diagnosing performance issues and resolving integration or deployment problems.
• Understanding of Cybersecurity concepts and best practices, particularly in cloud environments and data protection for AI/ML workloads.
• Experience with computer vision frameworks (e.g., OpenCV, TensorFlow, PyTorch) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is highly advantageous.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field; equivalent practical experience will be considered.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setting, communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and manage priorities in a dynamic environment.
