Job Description

Responsibilities

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Maintain a system of accounts, bookkeeping and records for all transactions and assets of subsidiaries, branches and related companies.

  • Maintain control of the following areas: general ledger, accounts payable, expense reports, and billing.

  • Preliminary and final financial statements and periodic reports of subsidiaries and related companies to the management to facilitate cost control.

  • Prepare and analyze accurate monthly financial and management reports, including income statement, balance sheet, budget and variance, projections and forecast, and cash flow.

  • Perform month-end closing procedures, including overhead allocations, account reconciliations, and schedule updates.

  • Liaise with project managers, Head of Departments etc. to ensure proper execution for flow of information on performance (daily, weekly, monthly), exceptions, process changes and new opportunities.

Competencies & Skills

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor Degree in Accounting or professional certificate (ACCA).

  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply or a minimum of 1 year of working/intern experience.

  • Knowledge of accounting system such as Quickbooks, SAP, MYOB, and UBS is considered an advantage.

  • A team-player with strong communication skills.

  • Proficient in time management and planning.
