Responsibilities
Role Overview
The Scheduler cum Document Controller is responsible for developing and maintaining project schedules while simultaneously managing the systematic flow of all project-related documentation. You will bridge the gap between "the plan" and "the record," ensuring that schedule updates are reflected in document submittals and vice versa.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Planning & Scheduling
Schedules: Create detailed Baseline Schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project.
Progress Tracking: Update schedules weekly/monthly by gathering data from site engineers and subcontractors.
Critical Path Analysis: Identify potential delays and "bottlenecks" before they turn into project-stopping headaches.
Reporting: Generate progress reports.
2. Document Control & Management
System Maintenance: Set up and maintain Document Management System.
Quality Gatekeeping: Review all incoming and outgoing documents (drawings, RFIs, submittals) for accuracy and compliance with project standards.
Distribution: Ensure the latest revisions reach the right people, and that old versions are promptly "marked void" to prevent costly errors.
Archiving: Maintain a bulletproof audit trail of all project communications and transmittals.
OMM: Compile and filing as per project requirement.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Experience
3–5 years in a project controls or construction environment.
Software Mastery
Primavera P6 / MS Project, & Procore
Soft Skills
Obsessive attention to detail, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to remain calm when "Deadline Day" arrives
