Requirements

Proven graphic designing experience

  •  A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics
  •  Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop)
  •  A keen eye for aesthetics and details
  •  Excellent communication skills
  •  Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
  •  Degree in Design, Fine Arts or related field is a plus
  •  Proven ability to deliver in a deadline-driven public relations & marketing communications environment
  •  Excellent relationship management & organizational skills
  •  Top-notch project management skills
  •  Strong written and oral communication skills
  •  Strong interpersonal skills and “get it done” philosophy.
  •  Upbeat and positive attitude with an always client-focused personality.
  •  Comfort with dealing with potentially unhappy clients in a dynamic environment.
  •  Decisiveness and ability to assert control over dynamic situations to steer them properly.
  •  High degree of proficiency on a PC

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:

  •  Plan the concept by studying the information and materials given by the colleagues and clients.
  •  Develop concepts, graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos and websites.
  •  Illustrates concept by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts.
  •  Determine size and arrangement of the copy and illustrative material, as well as font style and size.
  •  Work closely with clients and colleagues, briefing and advising them with regards to design style, format, print production and timescales.
  •  Manage client proposals from typesetting through to design, print and production.
  •  Prepare rough drafts of material based on the agreed brief.
  •  Obtains approval of concept by submitting rough layout for approval.
  •  Produce drafts for review by clients and make revisions based on the feedback received.
  •  Review final productions for errors and ensure that final prints reflect client specifications.
  •  Prepares finished copy and art by operating typesetting, printing, and similar equipment; and purchasing from vendors.
  •  Completes projects by coordinating with outside agencies, art services, printers, etc.
  •  Liaise with external printers on a regular basis to ensure deadlines are met and material is printed to the highest quality.
  •  Maintains technical knowledge by attending design workshops; reviewing professional publications; and participating in professional societies.
  •  Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  •  Able to work long hours whenever required (i.e. undertake any urgent or time sensitive projects assigned by the company) as part of a self-motivated initiative.
  • Able to do video edits as and when required with Adobe softwares.
