Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Deliver a comprehensive learning and development program for the hotel employees, including new hires, onboarding, and internal trainings
- Support L&D in identifying learning and development opportunities to implement, and support the full learning cycle from concept to delivery
- Review and update existing training materials to ensure appropriateness and relevancy, setting up a maintenance schedule to monitor existing training
- Maintain the learning management system and ensure training records are up-to-date and accurate
- Evaluate training effectiveness and provide support for the improvement of the training approach, content and delivery
- Provide support to external training providers to ensure smooth delivery of training programs
- Maintain a good understanding of best practices, new educational and training tools, techniques and methods in learning and development, as well as hospitality industry
- Support L&D Manager in managing internship and engagement with local and international institutions
- Maintain the EQ Service Standards through regular observations and inspections
Skills, Experience & Educational Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a learning and development role within the hospitality industry.
- HRDC Certified Train-the-Trainer is an added advantage.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a team.
