Admin

  • Assist the customers at the counter with their queries and at the same time provide them with the resolution effectively, keeping the interest of the school in mind at all times.
  • Receive phone calls to the counter and attend to enquiries respectively
  • Redirect customers to the appropriate department or person via phone or physically, while observing procedure and keeping the interest of the school in mind at all times
  • Should answer questions and provide relevant information to the customers that they might need and then list down the orders which the customers might purchase thereby providing them excellent service.
  • Assist in administering the relevant tests and in observing students in the testing room during the testing process, thereby ensuring that the integrity of the test is maintained.
  • Must treat all the customers with politeness, respect and courtesy.
  • Should input and maintain each and every record in the company file server including customer details and customer orders, pricing, quotations and should be able to retrieve it whenever needed. Appropriate filing and recording procedures will be provided for this purpose and they must be strictly observed.
  • Should handle any customer complaints in a professional manner and should be able to determine if it is necessary to escalate a complaint to the Front Counter Coordinator.
  • Should ensure that parents are called where necessary, putting priority to any emergency situations and obtaining all approvals as necessary from your superior prior to calling parents.
  • Keep yourself updated with any relevant curriculum being administered at the school as well as all co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.
  • Communicate effectively with the customers regarding any relevant procedures and policies which might be relevant to them, keeping the interest of the school in mind at all times.
  • Ensure that each document, hard copy or soft copy, is filed as per its appropriate location in the filing system.
  • Should be proactive enough to detect any potentially harmful situation and immediately inform management.
  • You shall aid in all relevant implementing of over-the-counter sales activities and liaise with relevant internal and external parties
  • You shall aid in preparing proposals, placement tests, sales contracts, enquiry statistics and forms, surveys and status reports, keeping the interest of the school in mind at all times Shall assist to co-ordinate and perform related administrative tasks as prescribed by superiors.
  • Shall perform all other duties that may be assigned to you by your superior.

Information Technology (IT)

  • ·Should assist the IT Manager in troubleshooting and resolving any IT related issues raised by customers or other employees. These may include software and hardware issues with any of the school’s equipment, including:

o Desktop Computers including:

  • Desktop Computers including:
  • Issues with hardware such as monitor, printer, keyboard, mouse, HDD, video card.
  • Issues with software such as Microsoft OS, MS Office, MS Outlook, drivers, network issues.
  • Issues related with viruses and malware.
  • Laptop computers including all issues listed for desktops
  • Printers/scanners including issues such as:
  • Paper jams and misfeeds
  • Printing issues such as with formatting, color, paper type etc.
  • Scanning issues
  • Projectors including:
  • Light bulb issues
  • Connection issues
  • Display settings issues
  • Monitors including:
  • Display settings issues
  • Driver issues
  • Video cable issues
  • IP Phones including:
  • Outgoing/Incoming call issues
  • Privilege level issues
  • Server
  • Firewall
  • Networking Equipment
  • Perform IT related tasks such as:
  • Setup new school computers.

EMPLOYEE SPECIFICATIONS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Diploma, BEd or equivalent experience/education computer science, computer engineering, networks, systems security.
  • At least 2 years of experience.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft operating systems, Microsoft Office applications including Outlook.
  • Good knowledge of Adobe applications including Acrobat and at least basic use of Adobe Illustrator.
  • Good knowledge of hardware components of computers, printers, networks
  • Punctual, well organized and tidy.
