About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Software Developer with strong expertise in ASP.NET technologies and foundational Geographic Information Systems (GIS) concepts to join our team in Singapore. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in developing enterprise-grade web applications, integrating GIS functionalities, and working within Agile development environments.

This role requires a strong technical background in Microsoft technologies, frontend development frameworks, API development, and GIS-related applications.

Key Responsibilities

Software Development

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications using ASP.NET, MVC, VB.NET, C#, and .NET technologies.

• Develop responsive user interfaces using Angular, HTML, TypeScript, and related frontend technologies.

• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services to support enterprise applications.

• Participate in application architecture discussions and technical design reviews.

GIS Application Development

• Implement and support GIS functionalities within software applications.

• Work with GIS datasets, mapping services, and geospatial technologies.

• Develop and maintain GIS-related components using ArcSDK and related GIS tools.

• Troubleshoot and resolve GIS application issues while ensuring optimal system performance.

Collaboration & Delivery

• Work closely with business users, project managers, analysts, and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and reviews.

• Conduct code reviews and maintain coding standards and best practices.

• Support application deployment, testing, and production issue resolution.

Documentation & Support

• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, design specifications, and user manuals.

• Provide technical support and knowledge transfer to internal stakeholders and end users.

• Assist in system enhancements, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Experience

• Minimum 5 to 7 years of software development experience.

• Proven experience in ASP.NET, MVC, VB.NET, C#, and .NET technologies.

• Experience developing frontend applications using Angular, HTML, and TypeScript.

• Experience in API development and system integration projects.

• Exposure to ReactJS will be advantageous.

• Experience working in Agile development environments.
