Job Description

Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly driven and commercially astute Senior Sales Manager – Leisure to grow and maximize leisure travel revenues across our Singapore hotels. This role plays a pivotal part in driving segment performance through strategic account management, proactive business development, and strong partnerships across the global leisure travel ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Account Management

  • Develop and execute strategies to secure and maintain preferred partner status with key Leisure accounts.
  • Drive leisure transient and group business to achieve and exceed segment sales targets.
  • Qualify prospects and negotiate optimal rates to maximize total revenue contribution.
  • Sell all facets of Singapore hotels, identifying up-selling and cross-selling opportunities at every stage.
  • Proactively manage and grow assigned accounts, maintaining deep knowledge of each account’s total revenue potential.

Sales Execution & Market Representation

  • Conduct proactive sales activities including sales calls, site inspections, trade shows, sales missions, business development weeks, and international travel as required.
  • Generate and convert leads in collaboration with Business Development colleagues, GSOs, and distribution teams.
  • Promote business for sister hotels through group-wide programs and initiatives.
  • Actively support brand-led promotions, sales campaigns, and performance-driving initiatives.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Build strong working relationships with hotel teams, GSOs, sister hotels, and shared services.
  • Communicate effectively across diverse, multicultural teams with professionalism and influence.
  • Participate in sales, revenue, and leadership meetings, contributing insights and action plans.

Sales Administration & Performance Management

  • Contribute to the Area Sales Plan, budget planning, market audits, and implementation of sales action plans.
  • Track personal and segment performance against budgets, forecasts, and prior-year results.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date client profiles and sales data across all systems.

Market Intelligence & Leadership

  • Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and emerging opportunities to protect and grow market position.
  • Share market intelligence with sales leadership to support strategic decision-making.
  • Where applicable, support team leadership responsibilities including coaching, performance reviews, recruitment, and training.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in Leisure sales within hospitality or travel, ideally at a senior level.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a track record of driving revenue growth and exceeding targets.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills.
  • Solid understanding of revenue optimization and distribution dynamics.
  • High level of proficiency in sales and CRM systems (e.g. Delphi / Amadeus Advanced or equivalent) and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented, and multicultural environment.
