Role Description This is a part-time hybrid role for a Compliance Officer based in Singapore, with a mix of on-site work and the option to work from home. The Compliance Officer will design, implement, and maintain compliance frameworks that align with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring regulatory developments, assessing their impact on company operations, and updating policies and procedures accordingly. The role involves conducting risk assessments, supporting internal audits, and preparing compliance reports for leadership. The Compliance Officer will also provide guidance and training to team members on compliance requirements, support incident and breach reviews, and collaborate closely with legal, finance, and operations colleagues to ensure responsible and ethical business practices.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Compliance Management and Regulatory Compliance, with experience building and maintaining compliance frameworks.
• Proven Analytical Skills, including the ability to interpret regulations, assess risks, and translate requirements into practical controls.
• Effective Communication skills, with the ability to explain complex compliance topics clearly to diverse stakeholders.
• Working knowledge of Finance principles and processes relevant to compliance, such as financial controls and reporting.
• Experience in technology, fintech, or digital/creative industries is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Singapore regulatory requirements and data protection standards (e.g., PDPA) is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment, exercise sound judgment, and manage multiple priorities part-time.
