Job Description

Requirements

  • Malaysian citizen.

  • Pass in Bahasa Malaysia, including the oral test, at Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Government.

  • Possess a Bachelor’s Degree with Honours in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related fields from a local or overseas higher learning institution recognised by the Government of Malaysia.

  • Possess Professional certification in Lean Six Sigma, Project Management (PMP/PRINCE2), or Design Thinking is an added advantage.

  • Minimum of 7 - 10 years of relevant working experience in process improvement, operational excellence, or business transformation.

  • Experience in large organisations or regulated industries is preferred.

  • Experience in financial services or public sector organisations is an advantage.

Responsibilities

1. Process Improvement & Transformation

  • Analyse existing end-to-end operational processes to identify gaps, inefficiencies, risks, and improvement opportunities.

  • Lead and implement process optimisation, simplification, and standardisation initiatives across Transaction Management functions.

  • Apply methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, Design Thinking, and process mapping to develop sustainable solutions.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, turnaround time, quality, and cost efficiency.

2. Project Management & Implementation

  • Manage process improvement projects from proposal through implementation and post-implementation review.

  • Develop project plans, timelines, milestones, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies.

  • Monitor project progress and report outcomes and benefits to management.

  • Act as process owner or key sponsor for strategic improvement initiatives.

3. Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders across TM sections and related departments.

  • Serve as a liaison between business operations and technology teams for automation and digitalisation initiatives.

  • Facilitate workshops and engagement sessions to ensure stakeholder alignment and buy-in.

4. Governance, Quality & Compliance

  • Ensure all improvement initiatives comply with EPF policies, regulatory requirements, and internal controls.

  • Support quality management initiatives and promote a zero-defect mindset.

  • Develop and maintain process documentation, SOPs, and work instructions.

5. Leadership & Team Development

  • Guide and supervised officers and executives involved in process improvement initiatives.

  • Foster a collaborative, results-driven, and problem-solving work culture.

  • Support team capability building, knowledge transfer, and performance management.
