Association and events management company hiring entry level coordinator to work with not-for-profit clients. Training will be provided.
Part/full-time basis, min 20 hrs/ week in Central area. Flexible hybrid work arrangements, 2-3 times per week in office. Candidates must be able to support client in-person events during lunchtimes and evenings 3-4 times per month with advanced notice.

- Develop, plan, and execute a variety of events, including meetings, conferences, seminars, workshops, courses and social gatherings
- Create and manage event budgets, ensuring all expenses are tracked and remain within the allocated budget
- Follow and maintain detailed timelines and schedules to ensure all event components are executed efficiently and on time
- Source, negotiate, and coordinate with vendors and suppliers, including catering, venues, designers, photography, audiovisual equipment
- Oversee all logistical aspects of events, including site selection, setup, registration, and breakdown
- Collaborate with colleagues to promote events through various channels, including social media, email, and online advertising
- Manage event operations on the day of the event, ensuring everything runs smoothly and addressing any issues that arise promptly
- Act as the primary point of contact for event participants and speakers, understanding their needs and expectations while providing exceptional customer service
- Conduct post-event evaluations to assess the success of the event, gather feedback, and implement improvements for future events
Pre-requisites:
- Available immediately
- Meticulous, details oriented and able to work independently
- Minimum Diploma and above
- Excellent written & spoken English
- Excellent Microsoft skills, especially Outlook, Word & Excel
- Strong organisational and multi-tasking abilities to handle multiple events simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for dealing with clients, and team members
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle last-minute changes or challenges

Pay: $12.50 - $15.00 per hour
