SOG design is expanding into Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and we are seeking a Senior Designer (Architecture) to join our growing regional team.


We are looking for a passionate and experienced design professional who thrives in a collaborative, international environment and is eager to contribute to exciting projects across the region.


Role Summary

The Senior Designer (trained in the field of Architecture) plays a key role in developing and leading architectural design concepts, visualisations, technical documentation, and project coordination activities across a range of international projects. The position contributes to design leadership, project delivery, and mentoring of junior team members while collaborating closely with clients, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams.

This role does not perform or represent regulated architectural services, nor act as an Architect or Qualified Person (QP) under applicable legislation.


Requirements

• Degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or a related built-environment discipline.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in architectural design, project delivery, or design coordination.

• Strong proficiency in relevant design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, Enscape, Lumion, 3ds Max, or similar platforms.

• Demonstrated ability to develop design concepts from inception through detailed design stages.

• Strong design sensibility, technical knowledge, and attention to detail.

• Experience coordinating with clients, consultants, and multidisciplinary project teams.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Experience working on international projects is highly desirable.

• Malaysian Citizens and Permanent Residents are preferred.
