Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Marketing Intern role based in WP. Kuala Lumpur. The Marketing Intern will support the marketing team in executing day-to-day activities such as assisting in market research, collecting and analyzing competitor and industry data, and helping to prepare marketing materials and presentations.

The intern will contribute to digital and offline marketing campaigns, support basic content creation for social media and other channels, and assist in organizing events or customer outreach initiatives. The role offers exposure to marketing within the mechanical completion and commissioning industry and provides opportunities to learn from experienced professionals.

Key Responsibilities

Website Management & Updates

• Maintain and update the company website with fresh content, news, and announcements
• Ensure all web pages are optimised for SEO, performance, and mobile responsiveness
• Monitor website analytics and provide regular performance reports
• Coordinate with management to reflect any product/service changes online

Social Media Content

• Plan, create, and schedule engaging posts across platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, etc.)
• Develop a monthly content calendar aligned with business goals and campaigns
• Monitor engagement, respond to comments, and grow our online community
• Track social media metrics and compile monthly performance summaries
• Edit and retouch photos and videos for digital use

Market Research & Marketing Strategy Support

• Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and potential opportunities
• Support the development of marketing strategies through data collection and basic analysis
• Compile research findings into clear summaries and reports for the marketing team
• Assist in tracking campaign performance and generating actionable insights

What We're Looking For

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field
• Proficiency in MS Office, canva and more
•  Strong organisational skills, and attention to detail
• Good understanding of social media platforms and current digital marketing trends
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Willingness to learn about the mechanical, energy, or industrial services sector and adapt to technical subject matter
• A portfolio of previous creative work is a strong advantage
