Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Chargeman role based at Universiti Kuala Lumpur Royal College of Medicine Perak (UniKL RCMP) in Ipoh.

The Chargeman will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining electrical systems, heavy equipment, and related facilities to ensure safe and efficient operations. Daily tasks include performing routine inspections, preventive and corrective maintenance, coordinating repairs, and responding promptly to equipment faults or breakdowns.

The role involves supervising contractors and support staff, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and keeping accurate records of maintenance activities, logs, and reports.

The Chargeman will also collaborate with other facilities and academic stakeholders to plan maintenance schedules and minimize disruption to campus operations.

Qualification

• Relevant Chargeman certification (B0) and valid professional license as required by local regulations
• Ability to work on-site, respond to urgent maintenance issues, and participate in rotational on-call duties if required.
• Previous experience in educational or institutional facilities management is an advantage.
