Job Description

Responsibilities

We are seeking a detail-oriented Finance Manager to support financial planning, analysis and reporting for our F&B operations. The role focuses on monitoring performance, controlling costs and providing insights to improve profitability across outlets or business units.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation and review of monthly and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable accounting standards.
  • Manage and drive the budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.
  • Analyze financial performance, identify variances and provide strategic recommendations to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
  • Oversee timely and accurate closing of accounts, including a full set of accounts and balance sheet reconciliation.
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory, tax and regulatory requirements.
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and regulatory authorities on financial and audit matters.
  • Partner with department heads to monitor costs, improve margins and enhance overall financial performance.
  • Oversee financial systems and drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and reporting accuracy.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to support business decisions.


Cost Control (F&B Focus):

  • Monitor food and beverage cost percentages and identify wastage trends.
  • Work closely with operations and kitchen teams on inventory control, stock movement and variance analysis.
  • Review procurement processes and supplier costing.
  • Review stock take results and investigate discrepancies to ensure accuracy.
  • Analyze menu profitability and recommend pricing strategies.
  • Implement and enforce cost control measures and SOPs across all outlets.
  • Drive cost-saving initiatives while maintaining product quality and operational standards.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in F&B, retail or hospitality.
  • Strong knowledge of costing, budgeting and financial reporting.
  • Experience with accounting or ERP systems is an advantage.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-outlet environment.
  • Knowledge of food cost control and inventory management systems.
  • Familiarity with POS systems and sales data analysis.
  • Ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights.
